Subdivision Plat
A subdivision plat is a detailed map or plan of a parcel of land that shows the boundaries, dimensions, and legal descriptions of individual lots within the subdivision. It is created by surveyors who carefully measure and map out the land, taking into account local regulations and zoning requirements. The plat also includes information about streets, easements, and any common areas within the subdivision. Once the plat is completed, it must be approved by local government authorities before the subdivision can be legally recognized and individual lots can be sold.
